A Christmas Journey" is a celebration of friendship, our love for music and deep love for the less privileged. This time, it was the blessed opportunity to produce a Christmas album for and with the Myanmar children from the Community School, Petaling Jaya.The CD comprises 12 tracks, 10 of which are Christmas standards and 2 Myanmar songs. They are all arranged by the amazing teachers-musicians-arrangers from StART Society (www.start.org.my) and features guest artists like Mia Palencia, Patrick Leong, Elvira, Abby Tan, Dennis Lau, Darren Lee and T4C.

The album is a heart-warming contemporary family friendly one that will leave you mesmerized and singing along with that good feeling of Christmas.
All over the world, Christmas is always thought of as a celebration where gifts and merry making abound aplenty. It is a time when there is much pomp and extravagance all around.
Few however remember that the original “night of celebration” was preceded and followed by a journey of hardships.
The Myanmar children’s story are somewhat the same. They have been displaced from their own land, rejected, persecuted and murdered by their own countrymen only to escape and find themselves imprisoned, sold into slavery, raped, and murdered. The children in this album have tasted atrocities you and I may thankfully never know, see or understand. Some have been forcefully separated from the loving embrace of their parents, captured, escaped imprisonments, tracked the dense malaria infested jungles, braved cold stormy nights and the ruthless brutality of Junta and border police forces.
And yet, if you listen to their voices, you will hear purity that pierces into any soul. As if another angelic choir were singing along side them testifying for them, you’ll find yourself in touch with the depth and poignant truth behind those beautiful voices. Yes, despite the journey and hardships they’ve been through, you should see how joyful and steadfast they have remained. Their dignity, humility and love remains intact and unshakable because they believe in a God who understands the journey, first hand.
It’s simply amazing. We recorded this album in just 7 days. And in those 7 days, we had the best of friends working together on this project and we had guests and friends like Patrick Leong, Mia Palencia, Elvira, Abby Tan, Vincent Ramesh, Ian Chong and Dennis Lau share their voices and music with us. None of them were not moved with what they heard or saw. Many were brought to tears the moment the children’s voices sunk in.And it is our hope that you too will enjoy that piece of joy and “magic” with us, but most of all, to share through this Christmas album, their journey of hope.
